Marianne Ferme sailed in the Mediterranean and is an anthropology professor. Marianne is happy to volunteer with cooking and race committee.
Pranthik Samal and Rosemary Luo came to BYC through Julie Durke. They like to fish and would like to get into sailing. They are happy to volunteer in the kitchen or wherever needed.
Zahwa Sophia Amad is a Cal graduate from Beirut and is an infectious disease specialist. She is semi-retired and loves being on the water. She loves cruising and has sailed with Paul Kamen. She has volunteered in the kitchen on Fridays nights and has board experience.
Marlene (Marley) Salangsang is a new first time boat owner. She has always seen Friday night racers go by and wanted to join and be on the water with everyone. Marley has gotten into sailing the last few years and has an Ericson 27. She would like to help with race committee and admin aspects of the Club.
Jonathan Iskaros started sailing in NYC, came back to the Bay Area a year ago, bought a 76 Islander to live on. He wanted to join a sailing community. He is happy to do anything to volunteer and has met a lot of people through the Friday night races.
