About the event
The Sailing Science Center will be displaying a sampling of its exhibits at the Berkeley Yacht Club from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, during Berkeley Bay Fest. You will see demonstrations of mechanical advantage, how to determine distance with a sextant, how boats sail upwind, how anchors work, and why northern-hemisphere storms rotate in a counter-clockwise direction! Join us as we Explore Science Through the Lens of Sailing!
