About the event
Update - Our destination is Pasta Pelican restaurant in the Alameda/Oakland estuary!
Join us by land or by sea. There is limited yacht parking at the Pasta Pelican guest dock, but if you can't fit your vessel there, Jack London Square and the guest dock in front of Scott's seafood is just across the water. The new Alameda Water Shuttle is perfectly situated to get you to us and it crosses from Oakland every 30 minutes, dropping off a short 5-minute walk from the restaurant.
I'll be departing Berkeley around 1000 for the 1.5-2 hour sail there and I still have a couple spaces if anyone would like to join me. Otherwise, I'll see everyone at Pasta Pelican around 1200. Once we have lunch, I plan to take the scenic route between the cityfront and Treasure Island for our return to Berkeley.
Please RSVP if you plan on joining us so we can be seated with each other at the restaurant.
I had to break with tradition when I was out of the country on New Year's Day. But my hope is that more folks can join us to our mystery destination.
Hint: Land cruisers and mariners alike can make their way to this enigmatic place and there is parking for vessels and cars alike. And while there are views to be had, you'll want to save some room for eating.
I plan to depart BYC around 10a and sail over. I should have room for at least a couple folks if anyone would like to join me.
Details will be sent out 24 hours before our anticipated departure time.
