Join us for our Monthly Membership Dinner at the beautiful Berkeley Yacht Club, featuring guest speaker Kurt Jordan, son of Staff Commodore Carl Jordan.
Kurt Jordan has been deeply involved in the design and engineering of the America’s Cup for the past ten campaigns, dating back to 1992. Most recently, he served as a senior engineer with American Magic. His work has contributed to two America’s Cup victories—first with Alinghi in 2007, and later with Oracle Team USA in the 2013 Cup.
A Berkeley High and UC Berkeley graduate, Kurt grew up spending much of his time around the Berkeley Marina and Berkeley Yacht Club, making this a true homecoming.
Kurt will share both technical and personal perspectives on the most recent America’s Cup, along with insights into past campaigns and his thoughts on the future of the America’s Cup.
