Treasure Island and Clipper Cove Overnight

On June 24 – 25 join fellow cruisers for an easy cruise to a lovely destination TREASURE ISLAND YACHT CLUB – CLIPPER COVE.  We are planning to have summer solstice dinner at the TIYC.  If you are going to go to the TIYC BBQ dinner they need you to make a reservation with TIYC. Yup, you have to sign up twice, once here and a second time at TIYC.

If you are driving to Treasure Island for the 4:00 pre-dinner party on Saturday, call or text me at 732-616-7277 or Brad at 415-215-3567 for a ride to the raft up.

This is a perfect destination for new BYC members to have fun and get experience with cruising. Plan to raft up with old and new BYC members and make new friends. Arrive early to enjoy this lovely place. If we have a few standup paddle boards there will be a race.

There are no functional slips in Clipper Cove. Dust off your dinghy and oars and make sure your motor works.  If you don’t have a dinghy or drive in, transportation to and from the beach will be provided.

On Sunday, the raft up will enjoy the sunrise and have a potluck breakfast starting around 8:00 am. After breakfast we will go ashore for a walk, swim or a dinghy ride. We have access to the facilities heads and a shower at the Treasure Island Yacht Club. Let us know if you are attending by land or water, want to crew one way or have any suggestions or questions.
