It is with sadness that we learned of Brian Cline’s decision to resign as Commodore and as a member of our Club. We know Brian cared deeply about the Club and its members. We thank Brian for his many contributions that brought the club forward and his services to the Club over many years. We wish him good winds whereever his sails take him.
Please be assured that the Berkeley Yacht Club has always promoted diversity and inclusion, a place where all members feel both welcome and safe. Each Board over the life of the Club has taken reasonable steps to maintain the security and welcoming atmosphere of our Club. The current Board is no different.
Our club is strong and striving. We have a Board election coming up in November with a Change of Watch the first Saturday in December. In the interim, Mary Garfein, our Vice Commodore will be Acting Commodore. Please support Mary as she takes on the additional responsibilities of the Commodore.
Fair Winds,
Staff Commodores Betty and Bob Gray, Tibu de La Carcova, Mark Bird, Kathy Pickup, and Falk Meissner
