Ahoy Members, It has been a busy and exciting time at the Berkeley Yacht Club. In between the intense wind and rains, in the past month alone we have managed to successfully complete a full racing schedule, a fantastic crab feed, an all-hands-on-deck spring cleaning, and the exclusive and elusive "Galley Gourmet" event.
But that's not all—we are also nearing completion on a completely new website and app for the club, which we think of as not just a website, but a new operating system for the Berkeley Yacht Club. We believe this new platform will be a new all-in-one way for members to discover events, connect with one another, and stay up to date with club news. We are excited to announce that it will be launching on April 1st (not kidding!), and we hope you like it as much as we do.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the hard work and dedication of our members. My most heartfelt thank you to everyone who has contributed to making these events a success, from our racers to our volunteers to our staff. It is through your efforts that the Berkeley Yacht Club continues to thrive.
Looking ahead, we have several exciting events planned for the coming months, including our annual Rollo Wheeler Regatta, the return of Friday Night Racing, and lots of dinners and social events. We hope to see you there and, as of April 1st, encourage you to stay up to date with club news through our new website and mobile app.
Your enthusiasm and dedication make our club a special place, and I am honored to be a part of this community.
