Double feature this Friday at Berkeley Yacht Club!
We start with a 6:00 pm screening of the fast-moving, goofy and (some say) brilliant Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. Engaging for all ages.Â
Then at 8, after a half-hour break for more pizza, it's one of my favorite undiscovered pirate movies, the 1950 Buccaneer Girl. It's part Disney-style pirate action: Swords clash, ships burn, ships sink, but no-one gets hurt. It's also a fun costume drama set in New Orleans c. 1810.Â
