For 2025, we welcome six new candidates for the board Â
Mari Bird (for Rear Commodore) is known to many as the heart, soul and organizer for many BYC events and race committees throughout the years next to making a mean Paella.
Suliana Baldwin (for Treasurer) is our former bookkeeper and club manager. Now as a member she is best positioned to oversee the intricacies of our finances. Â
Leslie Brogan (for Secretary) is a former marketing professional turned wooden boat craftswoman, and an avid racer in our beer cans and several SF-Bay one-design fleets. Â
Scott Barnes (for Port Captain) is active in the Blue Water Foundation, has been working around the club repairing the dock, storage shed and other areas in need of TLC and joined Roger Mason to reinvigorate the Ship's Store.
Max Perez (for Director) is the BYC delegate to PICYA, supports the BYC website and is active on the cruising committee.Â
Galen Loving (for Director) recently took a year-long sabbatical to go sailing, he is active in the Pacific Club Yacht club and steers the environmental program for PacCup.
Â
Thank you to all candidates volunteering to steer our ship!Â
