Guest Dock Update
In February’s NHT, we detailed the ongoing improvements to the guest dock. The Board of Directors is happy to announce all previously identified repairs have been completed. This includes reinstalling the section of ISOFLOT that was dislodged from under the dock back in November. At the beginning of April, we sanded, primed and painted the power pedestals and had a commercial electrician install the new 30-amp power heads. We continue to evaluate dock boards and will replace as needed.
Regarding the upcoming guest dock replacement grant mentioned in February’s NHT, our first grant writing team meeting was held on April 25. While the grant application date has not been determined by California State Parks, we anticipate applications will be accepted around September 2025. In the meantime, our grant writing team will be gathering information based on the 2024 grant requirements.
